Josie Wreck In the grand scheme of lauded albums in music, Lydia’s 13:13 is criminally underrated. Weasel’s remastering is delicate and enhances the monstrosity of the original loyally. The additional tracks are a ginormous treat. A real gem. Favorite track: I Fell In Love With A Ghost (Live).

As I'm not going to love this great artist who for decades has inspired me. Pioneer of the no wave, post punk, death rock. Absolute teacher of my most perverted and crooked emotions. I see you in hell Lydia.

about

This is the official newly remastered and expanded version of the classic 1982 album by Lydia Lunch. The original 8 tracks are powerful, deathlike dirges anticipating legions of Gothic/Death Rock acolytes to come with warped, sickly chorused guitars and martial drum displays, topped by the anguished vocals and dark, harrowing lyrics of young Lydia. This 6 panel gatefold CD edition features recent liner notes by the artist as well as 4 stunning, previously unreleased 1981 live recordings by the band, featuring ex-Weirdos members Dix Denney, Greg Williams and Cliff Martinez. Descend into the shadowy side of early '80s L.A. murder and despair with this classic release.
